Ever since we introduced our first juicer, people have been asking for a stainless steel juicer. It took us four years of development and testing, because we wanted to do it right. We wanted to make the world's most durable juicer, so we used solid stainless steel parts instead of cheaper stainless steel plated parts. We took the world's best juicer motor from our Sana 727 and beefed it up with steel parts. We tested many designs of screens to squeeze out the most juice from fruits and vegetables. We even subjected it to all kinds of torture tests to see if we could break it, until we were satisfied that it was the world's best juicer.
All of the parts which come into contact with the juice, including the auger, drums, screens, cap, and pressure regulator are made from solid food-grade stainless steel. Just hold the auger or screens and you'll be surprised at the weight. These aren't simply metal coated with stainless steel plating - these are forged from pure stainless steel. It costs more, but we think it is worth it for three reasons. First, solid stainless steel is the most hygienic material in a juicer. Second, stainless steel is the easiest material to clean - just put it in the dishwasher or rinse under running water. Even the juicer body is easy to clean - just wipe the stainless steel plated body with a soft cloth. Finally, solid stainless steel is the most durable material found in any juicer. That's why the Sana 929 has a limited lifetime warranty on all juicing parts.
Steel is in more than the juicing parts and body, it's in the motor too. We took the brushless DC motor from our Sana 727 juicer - already the most advanced motor in the industry - and beefed it up it with steel and nylon gears. This gives it the torque to drive the solid stainless steel juicing system while keeping it whisper quiet. This keeps the benefits of light weight, durability, quiet operation, and precise variable speed control, while it effortlessly juices even the most demanding fruits and vegetables. And unlike most juicers which can only operate for 15-30 minutes, this advanced motor can run nonstop.
Most slow juicers operate anywhere from 40 rpm to 110 rpm. Juicers with slower speeds like 40 rpm are great for squeezing the most juice out of hard produce like root vegetables, as well as gently squeezing soft things like berries. Higher speeds are well suited for produce with a high juice content, like oranges or any high juice content when you want juice fast. The Sana 929 Ultimate gives you the best of both worlds. High speed is also a big time saver with oil extraction when using the optional oil extractor attachment.
The Sana 929 Ultimate is the only stainless steel juicer which comes with three screens. The first is a fine juicing screen. With smaller holes, it creates more squeezing power and is ideal for firm produce like root vegetables, leafy greens, nd celery. The second is a juicing screen with bigger holes, called the coarse juicing screen. The squeezes more gently so softer fruits like pinapple and berries can be juiced. The third screen is the homogenizing screen. This solid screen has no holes, and turns the Sana 929 into a low speed food processor. With this you can make nut butter, nut milk, sorbet, baby food, and more. These solid stainless steel screens are the most hygienic, durable, and easy to clean screens on the market.
But the quality doesn't stop with the juicing system and the motor. No expenses were spared with the included accessories as well, starting with the heavy duty 1000 ml juice glass made of heat resistant borosilicate glass. It includes a stainless steel sieve which fits perfectly on the top, for those who want to strain out any tiny bits of pulp for the clearest juice. Next is the extra large pulp container made from food-grade stainless steel. If you like to use pulp for muffins, crackers, and soups, it's the best way .Even the pusher is unique, constructed from solid wood with an ergonomically designed handle for comfortable use.
The design of the feeding tube was adapted from our vertical juicers and popular 727 juicer. It's a stainless steel dual hopper for easy feeding of produce. There is a standard opening for long produce like carrots and celery, as well as a deep bowl for smaller produce or leafy greens.
The drum cap uses a variable pressure system, and like all other parts it's made from solid stainless steel. This allows you to set the squeezing power. The lowest setting is perfect for high juice content produce, as well as soft fruits. Turn it up to the maximum for the highest yield for things like celery, leafy greens, and root vegetables.
Of course, the Sana 929 Ultimate is compatible with our optional Sana 702 oil extractor. Just attach it to make the ultimate multi-purpose appliance. Just like the Sana 929, the Sana oil extractor is made from solid stainless steel, and uses the Sana 929's powerful motor to make cold pressed oil from a wide variety of seeds and nuts.
